Artist’s Statement
I combine art, words and stories with shape, texture and color to create offbeat, hand-built clay vignettes that express my view of the world and the world I’d like to see.
I get my ideas arrive in the middle of the night and jot them into a sketchbook. The results are a conglomeration of visual concepts, life experiences and wordplay translated into unexpected sculptural art that merges emotions with fun and insight.
